A dual agent represents both the buyer and the seller in the same transaction. Sounds complicated, doesn’t it? In fact, it is not allowed in some states 🚫 because it can create conflicts of interest and limited advocacy. Here in Missouri, “disclosed” dual agency is allowed, so make sure you know your agent is working for both you and the other party if you’re in the dual agency situation.
